My methodology is very different from mainstream training methods. I won't make you spend hours doing cardio or endless sets and reps of weights / circuits - you definitely don't need to be beaten into submission every time you see me. You just need focus, commitment and the willingness to work hard in the moment, then move onto the next exercise. Efficiency and effectiveness will win the day.
Most importantly, you should enjoy the journey towards "the you" that you want.
Background
I've been training all my life. I enjoy helping people and passing on what I've learnt. In my early 20s, with people in the gym or colleagues at work asking me for help and guidance, I had the desire to be a Personal Trainer. However, I pursued a career in Financial Services and then HR Consulting. The last twelve years of this was focusing on employee health and wellbeing for large global corporates. This has helped me develop a diverse perspective on health. I understand the challenges of maintaining commitment to exercise whilst coping with the often excessive demands of work - especially the impact on mental health.
Training gives you energy. I'm a 55 year old man who doesn't let that number determine what he can do.
